If the “Credit card & debit card” payment method is marked as “Limited to $500,” that means that your account is not fully confirmed.
You probably received an email with details about this (you may need to check your spam folder). You need to provide more information to your PayPal account to remove this limit. The additional information required may be: a debit card to access funds if needed, a bank account to credit if needed, or an ID for additional verification.
After you have provided this additional information, the PayPal team will remove the limit within 72 hours to allow you to receive unlimited card payments.
Before removing this limit, you will not be able to take money out of your account or transfer it, you can only credit your PayPal account with payments from your customers.
If you receive over $500 in orders by card, the card payment method will be deactivated until your account has been fully confirmed.
In the meantime, you will still be able to receive unlimited PayPal payments.
